Title Web Application Developer
Position Summary ATS is seeking a creative and energetic engineer who can provide commercial-grade software within time and budget constraints. Candidate will be expected to actively engage in design and development of ground breaking software to provide quality re-usable solutions for customers.

Position requires a minimum of 2 years experience as a Web Applications developer.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop leading-edge software
  • Work collaboratively with a team of developers in accordance with a design specification to build and deliver high-end software
  • Provide creative, innovative solutions for a variety of different settings
Qualifications

Must have extensive experience in the development of web based applications with following skills:

  • Source Control (VSTS experience preferred)
  • Visual Studio
  • AJAX – minimum of 1 year experience
  • Visual Basic .Net – minimum of 1 years experience
  • SQL Server 2005 – minimum of 1 year experience
  • XML
  • Experience with Windows Services
  • Web Services – minimum of 1 years experience
  • JavaScript – minimum of 1 years experience
  • Active Directory – prefer 1 years experience
Desirable Skills
  • Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Message Queues
  • Familiar with Department of the Navy procedures/protocols
  • Familiar with CMMI coding standards (Web Development Life Cycle)
  • Familiar with Agile programming

In addition, the candidate must:

  • Be able to independently research new technologies and solutions
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks/requirements at one time.
  • Be able to work under strict/tight deadlines
  • Able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Understanding of all types of testing such as unit, component, integration and system testing
