Applied Technical System, Inc.  is seeking a creative and energetic developer who would be responsible for developing .NET applications. This person is responsible for translating business requirements into high quality .NET 2.0 Framework web applications, ensuring that developed system components meet industry standard levels of usability, scalability and interoperability. Candidate would be independent and self-motivated, but able to work collaboratively with other developers in a team environment.

• Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
• Web application development experience in Windows environments
• Working knowledge of MS Visual Studio .NET
• 2-3 years experience developing VB.NET and/or C# web applications.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2005
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance required

• Programming experience with C++, Java, Server side scripting languages
• AJAX, XML, XHTML, CSS, or JavaScript
• Relational database experience with focus on data modeling
• Experience with utilizing best practices for short- and long-term release cycles
• Experience developing an SDK
• Strong server-side programming experience
• DotNetNuke framework experience
• Proficient written and verbal skills
